Commissioned art begins with an idea—and Auftragskunst is where that idea takes form. We deliver art for individuals and organizations that was painted by artists specializing in personalized artworks. This overview page outlines how the process unfolds: from initial consultation and digital concept to creation, and delivery. Whether for private interiors, public spaces or corporate environments, Auftragskunst serves as the starting point for meaningful, tailor-made artistic projects.
Commissioning an art piece of any kind through Auftragskunst begins with a brief description of your art project through the communication platform of your choice: Whatsapp, E-Mail or per Telephone. You tell us about your preferred size, theme, texture, your time plan, colors and the medium. After this, we will create a customized offer for you. Once both parties have signed the contract and a deposit has been paid, we will start developing the concept.
Once the deposit is received, the creative process begins with the development of a digital concept. This initial sketch serves as a visual foundation—capturing composition, color direction, and key stylistic elements. You can review and refine this draft in close collaboration with us. Adjustments are made as needed, with the goal of reaching a concept that fully aligns with your vision. Only once the digital design is approved does the final work begin, ensuring clarity and confidence so that you know exactly, how your artwork is going to turn out.
With the approved concept as a template, the commissioned piece transitions from vision to reality. Our skilled artist begins the final step on canvas, applying their expertise in technique, material, and detail to bring the composition to life. Every brushstroke is guided by the agreed concept, ensuring consistency while allowing for the natural expression of the artist’s hand. Once the artwork is complete, it undergoes a final quality check before being carefully packaged using professional-grade materials. The finished piece is then delivered directly to you—ready to be unwrapped, installed, and appreciated.
